FAQ

Our goal?

We want to teach you the basics of bridge in the quickest possible way (within the framework of “Mini-Bridge”), which should then be further developed and refined to “Forum D” so that you can describe your hand even more precisely to your playing partner(s) in order to find the right playing contract.

Don’t be fooled by the image of an “old ladies’ game” because you will be surprised how varied and challenging this game is!

The big goal of this new group at Team München is to play regularly with nice partners and opponents and to take part in big tournaments at the Gay Games, Out Games, Eurogames, etc.

Our beginnings?

Team München has been offering bridge under the name “Kings & Queens” since the beginning of December 2016.

The first beginners’ course to learn this very complex game started right away at the bridge residence.

Newcomer Classes

In order to expand the division, a course will be started whenever at least 4 players have registered.

We will then coordinate the dates for the class together.

We are looking for enthusiastic card players who would like to learn this extensive game. We will introduce you to the secrets of bidding, artificial bids, perfect play, sacrifice bids and much more, according to the learning programme of the German Bridge Association.

To make sure that the whole thing is not just theory, we will immediately play with pre-sorted hands with which you can practise what you have learnt.

The course will take place at Kurt’s home if there are enough participants.

Team München members pay 20€ for material costs and non-members 50€. The number of participants is limited to 4 people.

Kurt is looking forward to your registrations.
