We are on the hunt!

For the 24/25 season we are looking for new players for a second men’s team.
You should have experience and enjoy handball.
Please contact handball@teammuenchen.de

One of our big wishes would be to get enough female players for a women’s team in the league!

Main Training: Where and when do we train?

We train every Wednesday from 7.30 to 9 pm near Ostbahnhof at Cajetanstraße 33. The hall has just been renovated and we are very happy that we can use it as our home base for training and home games.

Extra Training: Where and when do we train?

The hall for our extra training is smaller and close to Bavariapark in Pfeuferstraße 1. We train there on Mondays from 8.30 to 10 pm. The number of players is limited due to the smaller size of the hall.

Our training vision?

We have two dedicated player coaches who do their best to provide us all with the perfect handball environment. As each of us has a different level of experience, the focus of training is to train and improve you as a player both individually and together as a team. Sometimes we split into two groups to train the experienced and less experienced players at the same time.

Handball is a fun sport and that’s why we focus on having fun.

What does our year look like?

We take part in an LGBTQ+ tournament every summer. The venues always change between different major European cities such as Berlin, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Budapest and Paris, to name a few. This trip is always one of the highlights of the year and at these tournaments we also meet our LGBTQ+ handball colleagues and friends from all over Europe. We are also always open to spontaneous tournaments if time and location allow.

We have a dedicated team for social events and outside the training hall we meet about 6 times a year for organised events such as hiking, bowling, Oktoberfest, etc. We also meet up spontaneously for a night out and go partying together.

Team spirit is not only formed by playing handball together, it is also important to meet up outside the hall!

What we offer?

We offer a social and safe handball environment where everyone is welcome!

We value important values such as diversity, commitment, motivation and team spirit. Our two coaches have played in top leagues, so we offer structured and goal-orientated handball training with a focus on becoming a better player. It is important for our players that we train with the aim of getting better and that we have fun when we play handball together. We also get together outside the training hall at tournaments and social events and have fun together. We also offer interested male players the opportunity to join our league team with games at the weekend.
